A normal life, that is what Janie Johnson thought she had. But one picture, one memory, one day changed it all. From the day that Janie sees her very own face on a milk carton that says she's a missing child, nothing makes sense anymore.

The author writes, "FLOWER DAIRY 'The dairy that cares 100% whole milk one half pint. Janie unclipped it. Turned it over. At that point, Jan ie realizes that the face on the milk carton is hers. But something is seriously wrong. The name on the carton was not her own. Jennie Spring. Who's she?"

In Ms. Cooney's book The Face on the Milk Carton Janie and her boyfriend Reeve are on a mission to figure out why Janie isn't your average 15 year-old.

Soon Janie becomes a person who no longer cares about anything else. This gripping mystery story sucks you in, as real life is also included. You feel as though a voice in your head says, "Wow! Did that happen to me?" Ms. Cooney has the perfect mix of intense moments as well as paragraphs of pure teenage enjoyment.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a little suspense, as well as reading about the world that we live in. As a person who does not enjoy a lot of mystery and suspense, this was the perfect mystery for me.
