The book View From The Cherry Tree is the best mystery book I have ever read. If you hate tattletale neighbors you'll like this book. It is so funny.

My favorite character was Rob Mallory, which was a 11 year old boy. He has a cat named S.O.B. His cat always goes on Mrs. Calloways lawn which is the little tatletale that always looks out of her window with her binoculars looking everywhere.

One time when Rob went on Mrs. Calloway's lawn to get his cat, S.O.B., Mrs. Calloway came out and threw a lot of stuff at him and a lot of the things hit him. He ran home and told his parents what happened. Rob was bleeding and also had bruises.

My favorite part of the book is when Mrs. Calloway dies. The cops don' t know who is was that killed her. What happened was that someone pushed her out the window. One of my favorite quote was when "She's dead. Mrs Calloway is dead! She's hanging from the cherry tree". (55) The quote was said by Rob when Rob was in the cherry tree and saw her get pushed. He ran home to tell his family. His family didn't beleive him, they thought he was joking. He tried to tell them but they wouldn't listen to him at all, until his father had herd him and went out side to see and he found her. They called the police and they didn't find out but were going to get surprised.
