How would you feel if you were frozen for a couple of years? How would you feel if you were in the hands of a mad man? And how would it feel if your life was depended on your friends.

In the book Shadows of the Empire, by Christopher Golden, Han Solo's life is in the balance of a mad man while another battle begins with Darth Vader, and prince Xizor. While that is starting Leia, Luke, Lando, Chewie, and being paid by Dash Rendar. Who is fighting who though? The search for Han turns in to a war with Xizor.

All the action starts when Leia and Dash are following Fett who is holding Han. That is when Dash says: "You only paid me to locate Fett not to fight him" Should they trust Dash? But while looking for Han, Xizor is planing revenge at Vader for killing his people. Xizor is planing to capture Luke and kill him. Slowly little things happen which makes Luke realizes that he is being hunted. To find out what will happen to Han and Luke read the book.

Shadows of the Empire is a great book if you like action.
