This book is a half mystery, half horror. This book tells about four teenagers who go out to have fling, but their fun turns into a disaster. The friends crash into a young boy on the road, while they are driving, but they don't stop. It is a hit and run. A year later, the young girl Julie James, who was involved in the incident, receives two letters. One is an acceptance letter from a college, and the other an unidentified note. The note reads, "I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER!" When Julie James receives this note, she is horrified and scared. She phones her 3 friends who also were involved in the incident. And soon each of the friends receive something close to what Julie was sent.

This book starts at a breakfast table, where Julie James receives her two notes. Then the. book leads to a dark night, where the four friends are driving, and where a young boy is killed, and so the adventure begins.

This book is exciting and a page turner. I couldn't put it down. It was scary and exciting at the same time. I also felt angry about the book, because the four teens who went out to have a lot of fill' committed a crime, and did not admit to it. They killed an innocent boy, and they didn't even bother to stop. They didn't even bother to tell anyone. But what I loved about this book was that it held you in suspense, and let you experience it all.

Overall this book was great, and I loved it.
