Wouldn't it be great to inherit $15 million? In the book Sport, by Louise Fitzhugh, an 11 year old boy does, but for him it's not that great. Sport Roque lives with his father. His father is nothing but a poor writer and Sport and he have to live off almost nothing.
His mother is the daughter of a $30 million dollar businessman who is sick and dying. Sport's grandfather has decided to give Sport half! This is an existing qoute from the book: "Sport, your grandfather is a wealthy man. A very wealthy man. He has thirty millilion dollars and has decided to give you half. In other words you're filthy rich!!!!!!!!"
But when Sport's father and step-mother go on their honeymoon, Sports greedy mother stops at nothing to get all $30 million, not even kidnapping. Will Sport's friends be able to bail him out of this one?
If you want to read a good mystery I highly recommend Sport because it tells the story of a poor kid that has to go through a lot just to stay with his father and to get $30 million which in his mind he doesn't need.
