"A very dangerous woman. Woman were the devil when they got their knife into you."(pg.15) That is quote from the book The Witness for the Prosecution and Other Stories . If you like mystery books but get bored of reading the same mystery you would love this book . It has many stories and is very interesting.
This book has some hard vocabulary, once you understand it the book becomes more and more fun! Almost every story has a murder.
Here a little taste of my favorite story, "Philomel Cottage". The story takes place in England where Alix Martin has a friend named Dick Windyford. Then she meats the man of her dreams. And then I can't tell you, you have to read to find out what happens.
