Have you ever liked your teacher and everybody in school knows about it and even hoped that you'd get hurt in a wrestling match so that you could be carried off with her crying? Well then you'll feel at home with Tyler (Ty) , in No Effect who can't stop looking at his 9th grade science teacher, Miss Williams. Ty's best friend Lymie, can't believe what he's seeing and is bothering Ty all the time and asking him for interesting details about their what Ty thinks, relationship.

There is one problem with this relationship because Miss Williams likes Ty as a friend and someone else is going out with Miss Williams. Who is going out with Miss Williams? Is Ty going to be able to get Miss Williams? "You call chasing that teacher around normal?" (p. 135) is one of the many insults Ty faces from friends. He also joins the wrestling team and is praying to win his first match. Will he win or will he lose to a wrestler who many people fear?

This is a great book that has many twists and turns. It has great cliffhangers at the end of the chapters and has no noticeable weaknesses. This book keeps you at the end of your seat and is a sequel to Trouble with Lemons. If you want to find out about what relationship Ty has with Miss Williams and if Ty will get her youšll have read this amazingly fabulous book. No Effect got no criticism from me which is pretty hard to do since I have had a lot of criticism for some books I've read recently.
