Tuck Everlasting

Natalie Babbit

Tuck everlasting is truly a creepy book. The main story line is about a girl who meats up with a family that has become immortal. She helps them get out of trouble and gets in to trouble herself. To some children the content about life its self might be confusing but in my opinion it is a fables book with a great plot.

This book is most defiantly my most favorite book. For young girls I think it is very inspiring. The story starts off when (Charlotte a proper young lady) begins her journey to America. She turns out to be the only girl and passenger on the boat that she's traveling on. The captain is a cruel awful man a the crew becomes rebellious. But the voyage turns out to be the most important thing that happens in her live. This is a great and suspenseful book.

If you like books that give the chills but aren't that scary you will love this book. It is mainly about a who girl who goes to live with her grandmother by the sea. Her grandmother looks for a sign from her long ago departed husband twice a day at each tide. It describes the sea in the most wonderful way and as the mystery unravels you become more and more enwrapped in the story.

Alexandra is a wonderful book. The main story line is about a teenage girl named Alexandra. For years her family has dived for sponges to make a living. When her father dies while diving. The Boxcar Children (series)

Gertrude Chandler Warrer

2nd Grade and up

The Boxcar Children are one of my favorite series. It is about a family of children who are suppose to to go and live with their uncle but they think he is going to be mean so they run away. They find a abandon boxcar and begin to live in it. The first book is mainly about how they earn money to life and how they fix up the box car. I would recommend the first boxcar book over the others.
