Cripple Checkpoint #14
Cripple is the halfway
point on the northern route. The first musher to reach Cripple
collects $3,000 in gold from G.C.I. The Dorothy G. Page Award is
presented at the halfway point. Dorothy G. Page is the late Mother of
the Iditarod.
