How To Do... Band Stretching

 

To do this activity you need a band. You can stretch many different ways!! This exercise is important because it helps you to stay fit! STAY FIT DON'T QUIT!! Here are some ideas.

1. Stand up with your band under your feet and your hands holding both sides of the band.

2. Pull the band upwards using either underhand or overhand. (When you use underhand, you strengthen your bicep, and when you use overhand, it strengthens your tricep.)

This activity helps your arm muscles. It is aneorobic.

About 40 percent of your body weight is muscle, and there are about 650 muscles of all different shapes and sizes attached to your skeleton.
