Our favorite favorite history textbooks at school are the A History Of Us books by Joy Hakim. They are ten book set of history books for ages 9 to 99. Books 4 and 5 have good information about the Industrial Revolution.
The Living History book Industrial Revolution is a great source of information for specifically the Industrial Revolution. It has nice, graphic pictures and lots of interesting text that is good to read for research or fun. We'd recommend it to anyone.
