The Wobbegong Shark

A few of the ocean's sharks live on the bottom of the ocean. One of them is the Wobbegong. It is also called the Carpet Shark.

It camouflages itself in long weeds waiting for its prety to arrive. It feeds on small fish. It has between two and five rows of small pointed teeth. It does not attack people, only if they accidentally stand on it or swim too close to it.

It has two dorsal fins and a caudal fin. It has large pectoral fins. It has two barbels below the snout. It also has a mouth located below its body. It got its name, Wobbegong, from Australia.
