The Thresher has a long tail called the caudal fin that is half the length of its body. It can be up to ten feet long (which is three meters). They use their lengthy tail to herd their prey into the direction they want them to go. Their tail can also be used as a baseball bat to warn their prey. The Thresher shark is fished mostly in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Catching the Thresher shark can be dangerous because it can swing its tail at you.
