Argentineans celebrate most of the Brazilian holidays. They are Carnival: Feb./Mar, New Year's Jan.1, Easter Mar/Apr., Labor Day May 1,Independence day, And Christmas.The Argentinean Carnival is celebrated at the same time as the Brazilian Carnival.
Argentina has a 75% population that are Roman Catholic. The Roman Catholic religion started when four Brazilian Spaniards where traveling and introduced them to Roman Catholicism. This took place in the 1530's. Other religions here are Buddhism, Bolivian Flock, and Baptist.
The major holiday here is Carnival. When they gather in their hometown they have the food and games. But by the end of the night comes the main event: the Devils Dance.î The dance is done in a bright colored costume by a group of people ages 15-26.The Other holidays are Labor Day, Easter, Corpus Christi, Independence Day, and Christmas.
Most of Bolivia population are Roman Catholic. All the countries in southern South America have above a 50% Roman Catholic population. The other religions include The Bolivian Flock, Methodist, and Baptist.
New Year's Day is on January 1 as usual. It is a very wide spread holiday across Brazil. The next holiday is Carnival. It is the Brazilian version of Mardi Gras. Everyone, rich and poor, gather in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate. Carnival is also celebrated in all the other countries in this page. Easter is celebrated at the same time as our Easter time also. They also have Labor Day on May 1. And Independence Day on September 7. Just like any country, they have Christmas on December 25.
About 90% of Brazil's citizens are Roman Catholic. Other Religions include: Protestant, Bahaíi, and Buddisam.
