The Birth of a Jellyfish
Jellyfish start out as eggs. When they first hatch, they fasten themselves to a rock. Slowly they grow into a shallow, bowl-like shape. They are again transformed , this time into a flower shape that looks like its petals are stuck together.The delicate petals eventually fall off, one by one, and start to swim around. Each "petal" is really a baby jellyfish .
