Making paper from recycled paper.

Another way to recycle paper is to re-make paper! The fifth graders at Coralville Central collected office paper, and after quick instructions, started re-making recycled office paper. Follow through the links to see some students do the whole process.

1. This picture shows different kids each doing a different stage in the paper making process.

2. These two boys are putting shredded paper that has been sitting in water for 24 hours into a blender to make the paper pulp in smaller pieces. There must be a hand-full of paper and two cups of regular water in the blender.
