Size

Their length is about 3.3-4.3 feet. Their tail is about 36 inches long.

Weight

Snow leopards weigh about 95 pounds.

Description

They have a thick layer of soft under fur coverd by thick long hair. Their coat is pale gray with black rossets, and a black streak, their underparts are whitish. The fur is long, fine and dense, over two inches long on the tail and underparts.

Food

Any other animal on the food chain smaller than them.

Habitat

They live in the mountains of central Asia, that range in height from 2700 to 6000 m.

Other Facts

Snow leopards do not growl.
