Size

A male puma may grow to be 1.8 m (6 ft.) long, plus a tail of 60-90 cm (2-3 ft)

Weight

A puma may weigh more than 91 kg (200 lbs)

Description

Their coat ranges in color from reddish to brownish yellow or gray. Black stripes reach from their mouth to their eyes, and their tail tip is black. Their head is small and round with a black spot over their eyes.

Food

Pumas eat deer, elk, beaver, procupine, and rabbit.

Habitat

Pumas range from British Columbia to South America. They prefer forested areas and jungles. They can adapt to various climates.
