Size

The slow loris grows to be 38 cm (15 in) in length. It isn't much larger than a person's fist.

Weight

It weighs 1.5 kg (3.5 lb).

Description

They have large eyes and fluffy hair.

Food

They eat insects, lizards, fruit, birds and bird eggs.

Habitat

They are southern Asian tree dwellers.

  • A loris is one of three species of small, nocturnal, tree- dwelling primates.
  • Lorises move very slowly through the trees but they can move quickly when they want to catch insects.
