Description

They have a yellowish, gray coat marked with clouded spots similar to the jaguar. Their short legs and long tail are good adaptations for arboreal life.

Food

Mice, porcupines, baboons, fruit, or arthropods make up their diet.

Habitat

Dense forest areas in India, southern China, Nepal, Burma, Indochina to Sumatra and Borneo.

  • Not a true leopard, it cannot roar.
  • Long body with short limbs, its tail is nearly as long as its body.
