Knights

A knight was a man who protected land and fought for the king. Any man who was born of a wealthy family could become a knight. He had to follow the laws of chivalry, which said that he had to be loyal, kind, strong and brave at all times. If a knight broke these laws, there would be a ceremony pretending to bury him. In the Middle Ages, a knight with no faith was considered no longer alive.
