Swords

Swords were good for open battlefields where there was lots of open space. A foot soldier would use his sword in one-to-one combat. Swords would also be carried by knights. They were kept in leather pouches called sheaths.

Swords could also be used as decorations in the Great Hall and the Throne Room.
