The Future

To Infinity and Beyond!

Nobody knows what the future of aviation will hold. But many people have theories and ideas of what is yet to come. What to you think a plane of the future would look like? Design your own futuristic plane and email it to us and we will post it here, where you can view yours and other people's ideas of futuristic flight. All pictures must be scanned in (if drawn by hand) and sent as an attachment to the address above. Please include your name and age with your picture.

Here are some scientists' ideas about where flight is headed in the near future:

• Autodynamics - "Where special relativity leaves off." A page about travelling faster than the speed of light
• NASA - National Air and Space Association - The people who put the first man on the moon have their own ideas about the future of flight, especially space travel
