The future of sports is unknown. I believe if
incidents keep happening like Mike Tyson's ear biting, Dennis Rodman's
cameraman kicking, Lateral Sprewell's strangling, and Roberto Alomar's
spitting, will make sports go into shambles. The players think they
are "all that" and are doing whatever they want. If I were in the
pros, I wouldn't be stupid enough to strangle my coach or bite a piece
of someone's ear off. C'mon, you're making millions!
What I can't understand is that starting college athletes are not able
to play because of academics. College is hard, but don't they want
to play? Princeton doesn't hands out athletic scholarships and is
still one of the best athletic colleges. They rank first in rowing
and field hockey and are always in the top 25 in basketball. It takes
very hard work to get in Princeton, so I don't think their stupid enough
to get suspended on the team because of not having decent grades.
The future of sports is unknown. If the Mike Tyson's keep on wrecking
sports than it will go down hill from now on. If the athletes change
sports and get along with their fellow athletes, we will see a brighter
side of sports.
