Where cat's live title

There are about 58 million cats living in the United States. Domestic cats are cats that live with and are fed by humans. Street cats, or alley cats, are not owned by a person. They wander and make up their own territory.

It is sometimes hard to tell the difference between an alley cat and a domestic cat. Alley cats usually have more scars from being in fights. Also, their hair might not be combed as well as a domestic cat.

It is important to remember that cats are domestic animals that live very short and often painful lives if they are not raised as someone's pet. People need to be responsible for their pets and take good care of them.
