You will need supplies before you can start grooming your cat. To get the supplies you need you can probably buy them at the nearest pet shop or maybe another type of store. Here are the supplies you need:

• a wide toothed comb to get the hair nice and straight
• a pure bristle brush to comb the back of your cat's hair
• a guillotine-type clipper to clip your cat's nails
• toothbrush to get brush your cat's face
• rubber brushes
• chamois cloth
• metal comb

   

  You should try to groom your cat every day. If you have a longhaired cat, it is important to keep their coat from getting tangled and matted. It also helps to get rid of fleas, tics or lice.
