Here is a way to make a model of the pipeline using K'nex . K'nex are a building toy that lots of kids enjoy using.

 

Step 1

You will need the following pieces for each section of your pipeline.

2 white circles 4 reds 6 yellows that are 3 1/2 inches long 4 long sticks that are 5 1/2 inches long 4 greens connectors (they are very small) 4 orange clips

Step 2

Get the 4 sticks that are 5 1/2 inches long and the 2 white circles. Put the sticks into the slots on the white circle. The sticks need to be across each other on the circle. There should be one space separating each of the sticks.

Step 3

Get the 3 1/2 inch stick and the red connector and put the 3 1/2 inch stick on an end slot. On the other end of the red connector put in the green connector that is very small. You have just made a leg to hold up your pipeline. Do this with all the reds and 3 1/2 inch sticks.

Step 4

Now take the legs that you just made and hook them onto the white circles. Put a leg onto each side of the pipe.

Step 5

Repeat these steps as many times as you can and use the orange k'nexs to clip the rest of the pipeline together. You have just made a model of the pipeline out of K'nex!
