Chicago Mistakes

- The O'Leary's barn had 2,000,016lb of
hay and the shed had 2 tons of coal and lots of kindling.
- People put furniture in the street so
the fire had a path to follow.
- Fire alarms didn't work.
- People were so amazed that they just
stood there, got in the way, and didn't do anything to help.
- Since the alarms didn't work, there weren't
many fire engines at the right fire.
- Most of the buildings were made of wood
which added fuel to the fire.
