Some can be very calm horses. Thoroughbreds can ran full speed for long distances. There are many places where you can see thoroughbreds race, steeplechase, and jump at the Kentucky race tack and many other places. Thoroughbreds are 14 to 16 hands.(1 hand is 4 inches)
