Intruder

The A-6 Intuder was deigned to be an all weather, sub-sonic, carrier based attack aircraft. The A-6 was good at low level flying in spite of its heavy weight. The A-6 had its unique side-by-side crew.

The A-6 worked extensively in Vietnam bombing targets with precise accuracy unlike any other aircraft at the time. It also worked hard to prove it was the best all-weather presion bomber against Libyan terriosts related targets in 1986. With the ability to penetrate the Libyan air defense at low levels in complete darkness and still hit the target was another good sign for the A-6.

The A-6 also worked very hard on Operation Dessert Storm, providing excellent bombing presion on a wide range of targets. Using its night and all weather capabilities the A-6 attacked well-protected targets with no trouble at all.
