Eisiesenwelt is another famous cave in Europe. It is located in Tennengebirge, a range of mountains in the Austrian Alps. It is famous because it is the biggest ice cave. Another famous cave is the Pierre-Saint-Martin. It is located in France and Spain. It is famous because it is 4,403 feet deep. The Naracoorte caves are famous caves. They are located in South Australia. They are famous because they have huge sink holes. The lava bed caves of northern California are famous caves. They are famous because there are many rock formations created by ancient volcanoes and earthquakes. Waitomo caves in New Zealand are famous because glowworms giving off light makes it look like stars. Another famous cave is the Sarawak Chamber. It is located in Borneo which is an island of southern Asia. It is famous because of its huge chamber. |
