Princess Leia Organa Skywalker Solo was born on the desert planet Tatooine. To save her from her father, Obi-wan Kenobi and her mother separated her from her twin brother, Luke Skywalker. While Luke grew up on the desert planet Tatooine as a moisture farmer, Leia grew up as the the daughter of the Senator Bail Organa. She soon grew to be one of the respected members of the Imperial Senate. By becoming a member of the Imperial senate, her hope was to stop their hostile takeover of other planets. Sometime in about a year, Leia began Jedi training. Although Leia still isn't a full-pledge Jedi, she is quite skilled with the red lightsabor luke gave her. In fact, Leia has even beat Luke in a friendly saber mach.
Darth Vader, who did not know she was his daughter, captured her and her ship. Before she was captured, Leia hid the stolen plans for the Death Star in R2-D2's memory. Artoo and C-3PO hid in an escape pod and landed on Luke's home planet. The Jawas sold the two droids to Luke's "uncle" Owen. There Luke found the tapes of Leia before she was captured while he was cleaning Artoo. The next day he took the tapes to Obi-wan. At the same time, Owen and his wife were killed by Imperial troops searching for the tapes. Luke took Kenobi to the Mos Eisley Cantina where Han Solo agreed to take them to Alderaan where Leia's father could use the tapes for an assault on the Death Star. At the same time Leia would have to witness the destruction of Alderaan. Unknowingly, Han landed out of hyperspace right where the destruction had occurred. A tractor beam on the Death Star pulled them in. While Kenobi searched for the controls to drain the tractor beam and Vader, Luke, Han, and Han's Wookie Chewbacca searched for Leia. They rescued her and escaped the Death Star right when Vader destroyed Obi-wan. Even though he was depressed, Luke managed to destroy two TIE Fighters during their escape. This boosted his spirits and Leia persuaded him to join the Rebel Alliance. Before the Death Star could destroy the Rebel base, Luke destroyed the Death Star. Leia congratulated him and Han, presenting them with medals of honor.
Victory was not assured for the Rebellion and Leia had to move the base to the ice planet Hoth. Vader sent probes to search for the base. He was successful in finding the base and Leia had to plan an evacuation. When her transport was blocked off, Leia had to escape with Han. They had a couple near captures but managed to escape to Bespin. Lando Calrissian, Han's old friend, tricked them into being captured by Vader and Boba Fett. He redeemed himself by by saving Leia, Chewie, and the droids. Luke would lose his hand here and discover the truth of his father. While the rebels retreated, Fett got away with a frozen Han, whom he would sell to Jabba the Hutt. Leia got an Imperial officer to defect and received the help of Admiral Ackbar.
In a quest to find her love Han Solo, Leia and several other members of the Alliance and a smuggler teamed up to find Han. In her search she disguised herself as a bounty hunter and was captured by Prince Xixor. Unfortunately, the smuggler known as Dash Rendar was killed in the process.
Jabba discovered Leia was tricking him in her guise as a Bounty Hunter and made her his slave. The recently captured Luke would foil the Hutt's plan and rescue Leia. Luke went to Dagobah while Leia set up a plan for the Alliance. Just before the strike team was going to launch, Luke arrived. Leia did not know why he was acting especially kind to her. He didn't want to explain that she was his twin sister. Luke believed this would interfere with the plan of destroying the Shield Generator on the planet Endor. Han flew the ship to Endor while Luke, Leia, and the rest of the Strike Team were passengers. On Endor Leia would have some excitement. When Han's plan to trick the troops failed, Leia and Luke went after them on Speeder Bikes. Luke killed two troopers and made it back to the base, but Leia fell off her's and was taken in by the Ewoks. She tried to convince the Ewoks that their dinner was her friend, but they wouldn't listen. Only the Force let Luke, Han, and R2 survive. The Ewoks thought that C-3P0 was a god. Luke used the force to lift 3P0 in the air. Then 3P0 said put me down or be punished. After the celibration with the Ewoks, Luke told Leia about their past. Leia was shocked but happy.
The Courtship of Princess Leia
One year, the New Rebellion wanted to form an allience with the Hapens. In return for the partnership with the Hapes Leia had to marry the Hapen Prince Isoldor. She was kid-napped by Han and taken to the jungle/desert planet Dathomir. Han eventually won her heart back on Dathomir. But all was not well. Luke, Isoldor, Chewie, Han, Leia, and some force-trained natives went to get spare parts for Han's broken ship. There were no ships on the planet for the Empire didn't want any of the force natives to ecscape. The Rebels and Isoldor ecscaped. Han got Leia's hand in marege. Leia now has twins named Jacen and Jaina who are Jedi Knights. She also has a third child who is ready to begin Jedi training.
