Welcome to our project about Down syndrome. We decided to pick this topic because one of the members of our group -Elijah - has Down syndrome. We wanted to learn more about what causes it.
People with Down syndrome can be very different from each other. Each individual has their own personality and talents.People who have Down syndrome learn better with loving homes, special education and medical care.Many adults with Down syndrome hold jobs, live semi independently and enjoy social and recreational activities in their communities.
We hope the information we have here keeps you from being scared about getting to know someone with Down syndrome. We learned that people who have Down syndrome are not very different from us.
