Comments: Rufous-sided Towhee! We hear it every day, calling "drink your
teeeeeea!" over and over again, but this bird is very elusive, always hiding in the
underbrush. I finally spotted one this morning in the blackberry brambles!

Comments: We also have a lot of white egrets here. They can be seen walking and
feeding along the marshes - even at the side of the highway. They are very tall and very
skinny.

Comments: We see a lot of Mockingbirds down here. They are noisy with
"laughing" sounds. They are protective of their nests in our wax myrtle and
ligustrum trees and sometimes dive bomb people who come to close. But they leave our
dalmatian alone.
