What a Colonial Man Wore

Look at the photographs  showing the different piecesof clothing that a colonial man might wear.  Then look at the chartbelow to identify the individual pieces.
  
 
His workshirt had a neck and sleevegussets; it was made in fine fabrics for dressy wear and in coarser fabricor working class men. His waistcoat is like a jacket coat  buttons and working pockets. A linen neck stock was worn on the nexk like atie.The wool felt hat would be  blocked to size. 
 
The knee breeches have an adjustable gusset inback, full cut seat, deep front pockets and buttoned kneeband.  Noticethe large amount of space in the back where the long shirt could be tuckedin.The century civilian coat was a collarlesswool coat with  pleated tails in back,  pockets and large, decoratedpewter buttons down the front and on the pocket flaps. A man's watch cloak was an outer coatthat came with a collar and circular shoulder cape.  
 
His squared toed shoes came without a  leftor right shoe.  One shape was used for both feet.
