War 2 F-4U Corsair. This was the main naval fighter of the
American Pacific war. The marine variant was called the C-4U
and was more of a close support aircraft. These airplanes
defended the U.S. fleets from the dreaded Zeros.

This is a P-51
Mustang. It was a mid-war escort aircraft that was very fast
and heavily armed, yet still maneuverable and respectably
armored. They were the only fighter with a long enough range
to escort bombers all the way to the heart of Germany. They
were able to compete with even the amazing Bf109. They were
also used as close support for ground troops.

Spitfire. They were the main fighters of the RAF (Royal Air
Force) and RNAF(Royal Navy Air Force) during WW II. They
were heavily armed, maneuverable, well armored and reliable,
but not remarkably fast aircraft. They were able to compete
with everything but the German Bf109.

Thunderbolt. This is a medium bomber with a respectable
payload of pin-point weaponry. It sacrifices speed and
advanced avionics for stability, reliability, accuracy, and
survivability. It is one of the most heavily armored
aircraft still in service. It carries mostly precise
anti-tank missiles.

Dakota, it was originally a commercial plane but was
modified for military use during World War 2. They had a
crew of at least two.

Falcon. It is the main light-weight, multi-role aircraft of
the U.S.A.F. (United States Air Force). It was made by and
won a military competition against the Northrop YF-17
prototype. It met all avionics and payload requirements and
came in well below the maximum weight limit. It was used
extensively during operation Desert Storm.
