Nat'l Sled Day is a family holiday that I made up when the first 3-foot jump was made. It all started when the plow made a snow bank right in front of one of the fastest hills in our yard (actually every sledding hill was pretty fast). So two of my friends came over and we went down that one sledding hill. I went down going pretty fast when I came to the snow bank and then when my sled left the ground I got an idea. So I went into the garage and brought out a shovel and I started making that little snow bank into a death drop. When my brother saw what I was doing he got a shovel and helped me and after awhile my friends started helping too! About thirty minutes later we where done! So when I went down and I went flying off that jump, and I’ll tell 'ya it was fun! And that’s the story about Nat'l Sled Day!
