Does it ever get hot in Alaska?

Yes. In the summers it is really nice. It gets up to the high 70s. Almost nobody in Alaska has air conditioning because it doesn't usually get hotter than that. Alaskans complain more when it's hot than when it's cold. Tourists complain when it's hot because they are used to air conditioning. Even in the summer it can get cold when it's raining or when the wind blows. Alaskans dress in layers and take a jacket just in case.
