Wolves and Coyotes

Anchorage has four or five packs of wolves with about six wolves in each pack. They don't come down out of the mountains too often but a couple of years ago kids on a school bus saw a wolf eating a moose. You can sometimes hear wolves howling but it is hard to tell if they're wolves, coyotes, or or sled dogs. About 15 coyotes live in Anchorage and lots of dogs.
