Hi my name is Melissa.

I'm eleven years old and love to ice skate.  I have two brothers and an adorable little sister.  I live in Anchorage, Alaska.  I have two cats and a fish.  I like to write poetry.  Here is some of my work.

Quiet is,

The morning dew,
My breath,
A wisp of hair falling softly,
A touch of a finger,
A raise of a hand,
The clouds soaring up in the wind,
catching the hand of life.
