Serval

    The serval belongs to the family Felidae.  The serval's scientific name is Felis Serval.

    The serval lives in the brush and grasslands of Algeria, Morocco.  The serval hunts a few things.  These are small mammals, lizards, and also birds.

    The serval has long legs and a slender body.  The body of the serval is about 2 to 3 ft. (0.65 to 1 meter) long.  It is about 21 to 24 inches (54 to 62 cm) tall at the shoulder.  The serval weighs about 20 to 40 lbs (9 to 18 kilograms).
