Oryx

The oryx is part of the Bovide family. The scientific name is Oryx gazella.

Most of the oryx population is in Africa and the Middle East.

The oryx weighs more than 450 lbs. (200 kg). This mammal is about 4.6 ft. (1.4 m) tall at the shoulder. The oryx has horns nearly as tall as the rest of it's body.
