What's A Fovea?

Part of your retina, your blind spot, is not sensitive to light. The blind spot, which is called the fovea is where your optic nerve is connected to your eye. Because of this, you cannot see anything when light rays hit that spot. You don't believe me? Well try for yourself. Below is a picture. Cover your left eye and look at the circle. Slowly move your face toward the computer screen. When the plus sign vanishes you have found your blind spot.

Are You Colorblind?

A few people are color blind. In fact one out of every twelve males is colorblind. This usually means that they cannot tell red from green. Look below at the circle of dots. Can you see a number in it? If not, there is a good chance you are color blind.
