Mountains:
Mountains are sturdy, powerful, and steep.
They are towering, overwhelming, and large.
They are rigid, slanted, and thick.
Larger than the largest barge.
They are brown, jagged, and cracked.
They are strong, and pleasant to the eye.
Those who stare must crane their necks,
To view the peaks which scrape the sky.
The solid rocks of a mountain
Symbolize everlasting strength.
A person lives for a century.
A mountain lives a thousand times that length.
A mountain is a tower.
It thunders, stands firm, and rumbles.
Yet, given enough time with nature,
Even the great mountian crumbles.
