Kisses
By Mary Atkinson

A kiss, like the notes of a melodic song, makes your soul reach higher and higher levels of ecstacy.
A kiss, like the softness of a rose petal, caresses first your lips then delves deeper into the spirit.
A kiss, like a razor blade, cuts at your soul, spilling your vulnerabilties.
A kiss, like a gentle wave rolling upon the shores of your spirit, mentally caresses your bruised heart.
A kiss, like a warm breeze that lands temporarily on your lips, leaves you wtih its imprint on your soul.
And above all, a kiss, is like an Angel's footstep......in its highest form, it can leave not only your lips with sweetness, but your soul with the permanent mark of true love.
