El Niño has caused some massive destruction around the world. Places like California and the Pacific Ocean were largely affected . El Niño has caused floods, massive rain fall, and strange weather in many areas. In California there have been many floods, causing buildings to topple over and cars to be stuck in the mud.

In the Pacific Ocean there have been tropical cyclones which have caused death to many corals, and fish and birds of the Pacific areas. In the warm water of western Pacific, strong trade winds cause the warm water to evaporate. El Niño is supposedly enhancing the Pacific's hurricane season.

El Niño's impact on Australia and western California consists of droughts in Australia and terrifying storms in California. In Alaska there is warmer weather than usual. In Texas there has been more rain clouds and a damper cooler winter than expected.

El Niño has disturbed the animal kingdom. The cool waters of the Pacific Ocean have warmed greatly since El Niño has come. Certain fish, for instance the salmon, haven't been showing up as expected. The salmon have been affected by the warming of the Pacific's waters. The fish eating birds of the Pacific haven't nested this season, because of the lack of fish.
