Welcome to Hinkle Creek Elementary School, located in Noblesville, IN, just northeast of Indianapolis. We are a K-4 school with a population of 540 students. Our facility has 27 classrooms consisting of three kindergartens, five first grades, six second grades, five third grades, five fourth grades, one primary Moderately Mentally Handicapped class and one Emotionally Handicapped class. A full inclusive learning disabilities program is available for students K-4. We also provide one classroom per grades 2-4 for a full-time elementary Gifted/Talented program (P.AC.E). All five of the elementary schools in Noblesville participate in this program.
In addition to regular curriculum offerings, our school offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to learn, grow and expand their interests. This year, these opportunities include: Science Fair/Invention Convention, Great Chefs Club, After School Library Hours, Computer Clubs, Young Scientists, Magic Carpet Reading Time, STARS Reading Program, IMC Reading Club, Math Club (primary), Math Club (intermediate), MathMasters Club, and Run For Fun Fitness Program. We also offer Spanish, French and German classes after school based on student interest!
Our Student Council acts as our school service organization and sponsors a fall food drive for the Red Cross, recognizes the Hinkle Creek staff during American Education Week, and coordinates the Chores for Christmas Cheer Program which supports needy families during the holiday season.
We at Hinkle Creek take great pride in our strong parental involvement. Parent participation in parent/teacher conferences has averaged 99.2% over the last five years! Parents are encouraged to visit our school to have lunch with the children, to assist in the classrooms and to become part of our active learning environment.

Our school is motivated by student success and builds upon what is most beneficial to each and every child. Our dedication to our Mission Statement and to our Lifeskills Program by our staff, our students and our parents sets standards that our children will carry through life. Building-wide programs that are student oriented learning opportunities include the CLASS PROJECT (Connected Learning Assures Student Success) and being an Economics America School.
CLASS is a program designed to provide students with more curriculum connections through integrated instruction (so skills are not taught in isolation) while studying year long themes and participating in "being there". We are currently finishing up our fourth year in the CLASS project and we have been selected to participate in a fifth year as a training site.
Economics America is a program dedicated to furthering economic education at all grade levels. Teachers from each grade level K-4, plus special education teachers are working together to implement an economic curriculum at our school. Students are given an opportunity to participate in mini-economies, classroom businesses, and "Not-For-Profit" organizations that help raise money for various causes. These activities then help students make connections of economic concepts into everyday classroom lessons.
The Hinkle Creek faculty, staff, parents, administration and community work in partnership using progressive techniques to meet the diverse educational needs of its students in a positive and safe learning environment. Hinkle Creek develops responsible and respectful lifelong learners prepared to meet the challenges of the future.
The society in which we live constantly places demands on the continuing education of our youth. The emphasis on high expectations both academically and behaviorally is our top priority and the benefits received by all will help in preparing your child for the future.
