The black rhinos live in the Savannah of east and south Africa. They can live with very little food which is good because they live far from civilization. They are very picky eaters. They eat only acacia bark & vegetables. They live where there is a water hole because they drink lots of water a day. They have very few enemies. The rhinos enemies are crocodiles, lions and hyenas.
Did you know that there are only 5 kinds of rhinos on earth? Also a black rhino is not black. It is the horn that is black. The rhinos can charge at 35 MPH. The horn on a rhino is not made of keratin it is made of hair like fibers.
Black rhinos are seriously endangered for several reasons. one reason is that it is hunted and still do for the horn. The people of Africa decided to put all the rhinos in a large fence and make a law so that no poachers could not kill the rhinos.

- The black rhinos are 14 feet long and 5 feet tall.
