Element 10 - Neon (Ne) sound

From neos, or new; discovered 1898. The best known of the inert gases, it is chiefly used in advertising. The ubiquitous "neon sign" is a glass vacuum tube containing a minute amount of neon gas: when an electic current is passed through, the tube gives off a bright orange-red light.
