Air pollution is caused mainly by humans. For example, cars do a lot of air pollution, So do factories. Humans do most of the air pollution, but nature can also pollute the air. For example, when there is a volcano eruption, clouds of dust, ashes and gases pollutes the air. Another example of nature polluting the air are strong winds. These winds may blow dust particles into the air, contributing to the problem of air pollution. Lightning is another problem. They can set up natural forest fires that send up smoke and soot. Dry weather cause droughts that easily start fires. One rare contributer is the impact of a meteorite. The meteorite sends up clouds of ash, dust, rock, and soot that may cover the Earth for years and make the air even dirtier.

Indoor and outdoor pollution both effect your house. Indoor pollution can consist of smoking or bad circulation. Outdoor pollution would be things like factories.
